Categories
The following categories will be acknowledged after each stage as a ‘Stage Winner’. 4-Stage runners and single-stage runners are eligible.
- Under 40yrs Male and Female
- 40-49yrs Male and Female
- 50yrs and over Male and Female
- 60yrs and over Male and Female
The results for competitors who entered as either ‘Non-binary’ or ‘Prefer not to say’, will be combined with the male category results – unless requested otherwise to Rapid Ascent.
Categories are determined by your age on the first day of racing (25 November, 2026).
Daily Presentations
A daily presentation will be held for each stage – many people will tune in either virtually through the broadcast on the Facebook Group OR attend in person as per the social schedule. Presentations will involve a reading and acknowledgement of the days results in each category, for the Devil and Quoll courses. No physical award will be given as such.
Final Presentations
A final presentation ceremony (overall awards) will be held at the Stage 4 finish line that afternoon and will recognise the following:
- Top 3 males and females in the General Classification from The Devil and The Quoll who entered as a Four-Stage Runner prior to Stage 1
- Top 3 males and females in each Age Category in The Devil and The Quoll (listed above) who entered as a ‘Four-Stage Runner’ prior to Stage 1
- Plus a bunch of random prizes!
Finisher Awards
All solo finishers will receive either a finisher medal and / or a unique memento.
UTMB Qualifying Race & ITRA Points
The Devil Long course (4 stages) of Run Tasmania Stage Race is a registered UTMB Index race and is also awarded 3 ITRA points.
